New Delhi (India), March 16: Undeniably, the international style icon Pooja Misra added oodles of class and glamour to Lakme India Fashion Week, and quite honestly, Rise should be appreciating and thanking her for it. On the second day, we spotted Pooja wearing an elegant toga sequenced dress in nude by designer Rebecca Dewan, paired with bejewelled nude heels by Manolo Blahnik. With her styling being plagiarised even at international levels…we simply loved the diamond-encrusted beige burlesque feather piece Pooja had on in her hair which was from Topshop in Singapore. The hair was curled in romantic soft curls at the ends of the Flamboyance salon. Her makeup was that of a Los Angeles-based showgirl with provocative scarlet red lips and winged eyeliner. She had delicate rose gold earrings and a necklace on with stacked-up tennis bracelets in her hand …the jewellery was from Anaqajewels…
On being asked which fashion week did she prefer, Lakme Fashion Week or FDCI’s Wills Fashion Week? Quick came to her retort…”I have walked the showstopper at wills lifestyle fashion week back to back, season after season, so it obviously is my favourite, besides being very lucky for me! I have even walked the showstopper at Lakme India Fashion Week earlier!! However, now both have amalgamated with completely different management, so it’s a bit of a new and unpredictable experience for me!!
Going by how Pooja was raising the bar of allurement at this event, we would want to see her take her deserving place on the ramp as a showstopper next season. Being the people’s magnet that Pooja is, do you know she bagged an international movie on day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week, irrespective? The producers met her at the event and signed her on immediately without a second thought! Just proves that Pooja was looking more stunning than the Bollywood actresses walking the showstopper! Atta girl! You go get them!
