As the global head of the travel and transportation, Dheeraj Kohli traveled across the world. Whenever he used to be in any country, Dheeraj Kohli made sure that he carried his personal camera and in his free time he loved to clicks pictures of nature or any some cultural events happening around, whatever used to fascinate him at that point of time.

Talking about his first celebrity sting as a photographer in America Dheeraj Kohli says, “AR Rehman’s concert was my first experience of covering any big celebrity from India. It was an magical experience for me. AR Rehman is a man of a few words and he seldom expresses himself through his body language or his facial expressions. But after covering large part of his concert, he looked at me and then gave me a big smile. So he knew that I am around and taking his candid pictures. He acknowledged my presence in his own unique way which made my day.”
Dheeraj Kohli says, “I have worked with many big celebrities from India, be it personal events, gatherings or big concerts, one thing I have noticed that they are not what we perceive of them. While working with them up, close and personal, I have understood that they are much more intelligent, sensitive and caring and more over they are human beings like us but as celebrities we tend to see them in different light which is not right”.
It is interesting to know that Dheeraj Kohli is not only a photographer he is the one person who can easily switch to videography also and he loves both. Dheeraj Kohli is a kind of photographer/videographer who is always on a look out for something with no other person will notice or capture on their camera. He has a keen eye on the smallest things around and he minutely observes everything from behind the camera. Dheeraj Kohli says, “Suppose if I am covering a wedding everyone would be busy capturing beautiful frames from the venue but I am the one who notices tears in the eyes of the bride’s father. That is what gives me a great high, to notice something which others don’t observe or something they choose to ignore.”
In a very short span of time photographer Dheeraj Kohli has not only has made a name for himself but he has earned lot of praises and respect for his excellant photography skills.. Dheeraj Kohli says, “Most of the celebrities have not only acknowledged my work as a photographer but they also have immense respect for my photography skills which makes me proud for what I do at the end of day. I would just give you an example. Comedian Kapil Sharma was recently here in America. I quietly took all his pictures in the event, but in the end he came to me and said ‘Thank you sir for taking my pictures”.
